The night you walked on stage at Manchester Apollo and sang The Cutter, was the most powerful thing in history of Runrig for us. They had found their man, and you had come into all our hearts.
Your banter, wit and talent won us over again and again, having us hang onto every last note you sang. Your songwriting amazing as well.
We will miss you so much, and we will cry when we listen to you sing , but we will forever love you and remember you were amazing. We can rest knowing you are no longer in pain, and can rest easy Somewhere up there.
You were more than just a singer, you were a gentleman, a scholar, a comic, a hero, a legend, and to us, a friend.
