I am so very sad and bereft at the loss of Bruce. I only saw him on stage with Runrig. His spirit and love of music shone like a beacon from the stage. When he sang he lifted my spirit in a way that I never experienced with other artists. I always thought how generous of his wife and children to share so much of Bruce touring with Runrig. At one concert he spoke of being tired of the many trips back and forth across the Atlantic, but he endured the trips to be able to bring the music of Runrig to the fans. I now know from the tribute by Rory that Bruce endured so much more than trips across the Atlantic. He was passionate and true to himself. He treasured his family and life, that was clear from his stage persona. My deepest sympathy to his wife, children and extended family. I never imagined seeing Bruce at Stirling on the 18th August 2018 that he was struggling with his health. Bruce will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will live on through the music he made with Runrig and as a solo artist. He will live on in the hearts of his many fans throughout the world. Bless you Bruce and thank you for the joy you brought to my life. I will continue to listen to your music and think of you always.
