I had just become a Runrig fan when Bruce joined the band and immediately fell in love with his warm and beautiful voice which added so much to the songs. From that moment on both Runrig's and Bruce's music influenced my life immensely. Scotland became a regular summer destination for me where I started learning Gaelic and Gaelic song and with my own small band Runrig songs were always part of the setlist. At my godson's christening I sang "Little Gifts" because the words spoke straight to my heart. I made lots of friends over the years which I would never have met without Bruce and Runrig. Thank you so much, Bruce Guthro, for your music and presence which was vital for so many of my decisions in life.
