I have been a fan of Runrig for more years than I can remember. But when you arrived, Bruce, you made me fall in love with Runrig all over again. A great voice, great stage presence and a great person. The last time we saw Runrig live was at Edinburgh Castle in 2016 - I had always wanted to see Runrig in Scotland and that performance was just the best ever. The first time I heard Bruce sing I think my heart melted- that voice told a story and had such depth and meaning in every word sung. Runrig and then Runrig with Bruce have been part of my life for my whole adult life and I am heartbroken. I’d harboured dreams of visiting Canada - trip planned for next year- and maybe finding Bruce singing somewhere! My close friend passed this year - we shared a love of Runrig- maybe she will have the pleasure of hearing Bruce singing with angels. Condolences to his family and the rest of the band. I think we all share in this heartbreak and I hope the thoughts and memories of his many fans will bring some comfort
