Runrig have been with me and my family for most of our lives. When all hope was gone Bruce came along and gave us new and precious memories. We will always cherish a moment at Scone Palace, with our daughter on my shoulders and the words “Beat the Drum” being sung in unison by Bruce and our 4 year old daughter. It has always been her favourite song and the very reason she took up the drums. She was even interviewed about it during The Last Dance. The lyrics and images we all have tattooed on our bodies get us through the dark days. Thank you for the music and the memories, you will forever be in our hearts.
