A Rainbows Light by julie Hatchcroft The light of a rainbow appears in the sky Its a message from a loved one after they die They are hidden in the colours from you and me That's just the way God intended it to be Tears of rain that reflect off the sun A rainbow sign for that special someone That's why they appear wherever they do It's God way so a loved one can check on you The light of a rainbow gives you peace in your heart It's love sent from someone who had to depart They are making sure that you are okay Until you meet again on that special day Red is for their undying love Orange is healing sent from above Yellow is wisdom to know they care Green it's their nature to always be there Blue is a message that it's from the divine Indigo for harmony until the end of time Violet is a sign they are with you in spirit The rainbow is one way they can come visit When you watch a rainbow stretch across the sky Take a moment to look up, smile and say goodbye Let them know the grief is starting to ease So you grant them grace and eternal peace The light of the rainbow has to fade Once the message from heaven has been made God only grants them a minute or two Then they must disappear from view Please dont just pass a rainbow by It's a loved one saying to you goodbye Grasp the moment hold it tight Your loved one is in that rainbow light
