My sincerest condolences to all the family and friends of the late Bruce Guthro. These last few weeks been must have been horrendously difficult for all. Many of us were unaware of Bruce's illness and the news of his passing was a moment of shock and sadness. Thank you for allowing his own and Runrig fans the opportunity to attend the funeral service and celebration of life afterwards. Most of us never had the pleasure of meeting him but we did see his warm and charismatic personality on stage or in youtube clips and dvd's. Thank you for lending him to Runrig for 20 years, without Bruce the curtain would have come down in 1998. He most definitely brought fresh energy to the band and his wonderful voice brought the songs to life and the music got better and better. I think he must have seen it as good for him as well. I was watching one of the dvd's recently and as always the crowd were singing along and dancing all night but you could see all the band enjoying the gig as well. Maybe that's why it all came together so well over the years. Thank you Bruce, for all the wonderful times you gave us. There are so many tributes here and on other platforms, I hope that there is some small comfort for you all and wish Dylan and Jodi much success in their careers.
