My Runrig story begins in 1993. A friend played me a CD back then. I was excited. In 1994 my first concert in the Tanzbrunnen in Cologne. Just genius. After many more concerts, the shock came that Donnie stopped and nobody knew whether it would continue. Then in 1998 I saw the band in the Besquidhalle with the new lead singer Bruce Guthro. My expectations weren't very high and I compared every song to the way Donnie sang it. Bruce's voice thrilled me at the Search of Angels concert. Nothing better could have happened to us Runrig fans to have such a brilliant singer. I will always carry Bruce in my heart and say thank you for the wonderful twenty years.
