I don’t even know where to begin with this one 🥹
I was introduced to Runrig by my oldest brother as a young yin way back in the early 80’s.
Since then I’ve seen them more times than I could count in so many venues. 
My favourite would be the 30th Anniversary concert at Stirling castle and what I thought was my saddest was the Last Dance in a crowd of 50,000 fans from all over the world below the castle rampants. 


But hearing this news has been so sad, was devastated when I heard. 🥹 Watching  Bruce post his video in regards to his ill health a month or so ago, I didn’t think the end was near. 


I set out not to like him, like so many others, thinking that no one could do Donnie justice, how wrong I was on both counts, what a voice and boy did he do a superb job. 
He helped take Runrig into new and exciting directions, against all odds. 
An amazing talent and a super likeable character. 


My heart goes out to his family and all the other band members 💙
Bruce, your legacy will live on in your son and  daughter and all the next generation of singers you mentored and helped.
