I remember when I heared the 1st album with Mr Guthrie, was totally down, how could they do this???? I was disappointet. But if ya cool & calm down and listen ...here he comes the new guy. I've heared the numberless nuances, colors in his voice, the way he's singing. He was the perfect singer for this phantastic group, remembered me on the gesturing guy on the frontside of the table, the storyteller on Magnum/Rodney Matthews "Storytellers Night. At the end, after suffering on 14 x PTSB and two strokes... Runrig with Bruce Guthro helped, not only me, to gain hope & strength to walk thru the valleys of darkness straight ahead to the sunlight......The Edinbugh Castle Concert, 30th... the way he turned and looked at the youngster as he sang his solo.... that man makes in his style a emotional firework with the power od a hurricane of the song "One Thing". His body may have gone but in the minds, hearts, souls & ears of us he lives forever. I personally have to konfess that up to now I've not lost a tear for him.... the grief of his passin' is still too strong
