If it wasn't for Bruce Guthro taking over from Donnie Munro, I may have never discovered Runrig, which in turn would mean I may never have moved to Scotland and I wouldn't have met all those friends that influenced and shaped my life. I once bought two CDs in 2000 with Irish and Scottish folk songs and two songs from the "In Search of Angels" album were on it. I fell in love with the band and the seed for moving to Scotland was planted. Those two songs would never have existed without Bruce giving the band a second life.
