Dear Bruce 

in this sad times there are so many memories coming up, so many feelings filled with sorrow.

Although we never met personally, never spoke any word to you,it‘s a feeling of losing a good friend.

When you came to Runrig in 1998, you‘ve been not only the best solution to continue the whole story.

It was more: the sound of the band became more vivid, even the older songs changed to new ones, because of your interpretation and your wonderful voice.

In concerts you embraced the audience, us, being the perfect frontman.

Later on we came across your solo career and enjoyed your christmas concert in Düsseldorf.

In your life as an artist you‘ve left your footprints not only in our minds, but in our hearts.

And now we are reading all the comments of former band mates and other music companions.

They all described you as a man, who impressed them not only by your musical talents but always remember you as a friendly, helpful guy, being strong in faith.

What a legacy you leave.

This is all about the sorrow of two fans from Germany, but how hard must be the loss for your family?!

We wish them all the strength and faith they need, to see the light again, sometimes.
