I first noticed Bruce and Runrig in the TV show "Money or Love" in 2001. I soon forgot the name of the band. I only remembered the likeable lead singer with his beautiful voice.

A few years later, a MySpace friend from Canada posted a video of a singer/songwriter from Cape Breton/Canada for my birthday. Lo and behold, it was this so likeable lead singer from the TV show I mentioned. I looked for his CDs and ordered them via Amazon. By searching the internet, I found out the name of the group from the TV show: Runrig (and I also liked their music).
When Bruce gave concerts in Germany on his solo tour, I was able to enjoy him live for the first time in Cologne in the Kulturkirche. It was simply amazing. After that, I was able to enjoy some more of his concerts live and also the ones with Runrig. I also infected my sister with the Bruce and Runrig virus. We went to the farewell concert in Cologne at the Lanxess Arena. Unfortunately I couldn't go to Stirling. Bruce's fans were looking forward to more of his solo tours after Runrig ended. In 2019 we got to enjoy Bruce live once more.

Dear Bruce, now your beautiful voice will never be heard live again. You have gone far too soon. I will not forget you. You will forever have a place in my heart. The memory of a likeable guy with a big heart and a lot of charisma and his fantastic music that touched my heart. Thank you Bruce and R.I.P.

My heartfelt condolences to Kim, Jodi and Dylan. I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you much strength in this sad time.
