I grew up with Bruce's voice. Ever since I heard him for the first time on German TV I was utterly enchanted. As a singer myself I've been telling people for years I learned to sing,  REALLY SING by listening to him.  His emotional warmth and depth of expression is like no other. His voice is just so wonderful. I got to briefly chat with him at a signing session in Cologne's Kulturkirche in 2009. We just exchanged a few words, I was way too nervous to be eloquent.  I wanted to tell him how much his art meant to me. How much his example empowered me to be emotional and true to myself in my expression. I was a bumbling mess instead and thanked him for the the wonderful concert.  He was so very kind and thanked me in return. His warmth and kindness will stay with me forever.  Thank you for the music, Bruce. You touched so many lives.
