Memories are everything - THANK YOU Bruce

I'm so sorry for your loss, my thought are with Bruce's family Kim, Jodi and Dylan

Life is hard, somehow - Life is cold, somehow

Every time I met Bruce, it was always a special moment. I discovered Bruce and Runrig very late - in 2010. My first live concert was in 2012 on Bruce's birthday. Bruce walked on stage and I heard the first notes and I was blown away. From that moment on I tried to sort it out to see as many concerts as possible and I was lucky I had the privilege of seeing Bruce perform with Runrig 40 times in Germany, Denmark, Scotland, England and France and I also was able to see Bruce at his solo concerts 20 times. Unfortunately, I only had the pleasure of seeing Bruce's songwriter circle in Halifax once. The joy of seeing Bruce perform live in all three of his musical genres is amazing.
For me, Bruce's music stand for emotions, happiness, sadness, friendship, joy and lots of fun. His music and voice always helped and will always help, in every situation in life bad or good once.
In 2019 at the last live concert in Germany, Bruce performed with Jodi and Dylan and it seemed like he had a lot of fun, enjoyed and loved it. At this point I was convinced Bruce will come back.
Then came Covid, a terrible time, and what did Bruce do? He gave us this beautiful song 'What makes A Hero' and organized an online songwriter circle “The Circle Continues” and brought a little hope, light, joy and fun back into our lives. Bruce is a Hero, too!
Bruce, your personality, your songs and your voice will stay forever
 - love lives on -
 - And we’ll sing of the ties that bind forever, we will sing -
Memories are everything - I will remember
R.I.P  Thank you Bruce for everything
