My wife Kath and I were fortunate to meet Bruce and the other Runrig band members 3 times backstage. In April 1999 Kath was in Intensive care having just had an emergency operation to repair a perforated duodenal ulcer. She had received a tracheostomy and was unable to speak at that time. I rang the hospital to find out how she was faring after the operation. The Nurse told me that Kath had been given pen and paper and had written "Maymorning" That told me instantly that Kath meant "I'm Alive Again!" and that she was alert. Thank God she went on to make good recovery. I have the CD single of Maymorning that Bruce very kindly signed when we met him.
We loved Bruce's work with Runrig and also his solo CD's. Sadly Kath passed away just three months ago but I have almost 50 years of married life memories to support me. I had Bruce singing Runrig's "The Years We Shared" at the Funeral service.
My sincere Condolences to Kim, Dylan and Jodi together with all at Runrig, and my great thanks for Bruce's wonderful mark he left on our lives.

PS A song I have found inspirational and emotional is " When I Get There" sung by P!nk
