Just over 20 years ago I had the great honour and privilege of meeting Bruce, along with Rory, Callum and Brian, outside the City Hall in Sheffield just prior to a Runrig concert there. Hearing recently that Bruce had passed away was so hard to believe and it still hasn’t properly sunk in. He was a fantastic singer and entertainer and a wonderful human being. He will be so sadly missed and my heart goes out to his family. He has left an absolutely wonderful legacy with his songs and music.
