I met Bruce backstage on his first tour with the band in my home town, Carlisle in Cumbria. When he sang his first song the audience were so quiet. After that we realised Bruce was the perfect person to replace Donnie.I met him again backstage in Edinburgh. I then bought all of his solo CDs. Of your son is my favourite. My favourite Runrig song he sang is the old boys. It was a total shock to hear that Bruce had passed away. He must have hid his illness very well and I wonder how many times he went out on stage when he was not feeling 100%. Thank you for the music Bruce, you will not be forgotten and your music will live on. My thoughts are with Kim, Dylan and Jodi. You have lost a wonderful husband and father.
