I am so incredibly heartbroken for the loss of Bruce and the sadness that this will bring family, friends and wider.

For all of my life I have loved Runrig however I really grew up knowing Bruce as the front man. A man who gave me the most incredible music and sound to enjoy - memories of music that came to me in moments of happiness, of sadness, love and loss. Bruce will always be Runrig for me and now that Runrig's chapter as it was has really come to a close, I am glad he could lead the band through their final time with the privacy he had. I just hope he knew truly how loved he was by all and that there was no one more suited that could have led the band. Every song, lyric, piece of music, concert, memory and more will be so much more special.
