I was a fan of Bruce’s music before Runrig. Life got busy with a move to the west, marriage and family...i am ashamed to say i lost track of a lot of things. A trip to Scotland in 2016 was the reawakening. We were going to the Hebcelt cestival on the Isle of Lewis and my friend downloaded music from bands who were going to be performing. Runrig....as soon as i heard that voice i yelled...”that’s Bruce!”. That festival brought his music back to me and i am so grateful for that. His loss is heartbreaking to all those whoe love the beauty of that voice, the joy of watching him perform and kindness he showed the folks who gathered to hear him. My heart goes out to his family. Love and light to you. We will all miss him.
